Tips and Tricks
Included here are some tips and tricks to help you with certain things you might want to do with your dog. It is always fun to engage them and usually that helps with different experiences they will have in life. There are also some grooming tips for you in case you might want to do some “in between maintenance”, desensitizing, and other fun things. We will continue to add to this list from time to time.

My learning: One of the most educational things that I have learned since I started this endeavor, is all about nail care. The toughest thing for me was trimming nails and not knowing for sure that I would not hit the quick. Just like pet owners! So, I thank those that allowed me to get more practice by grooming their dogs. Some had a quick nicked, others not. It really bothered me, so I learned more and determined that grinding is better. I personally have moved to the nail grinder because it is safer, super easy, avoids cutting the quick, and most dogs don’t mind it.
